We were founded from the belief that we can do better, and we strongly believe that we are raising the stakes in downhole technology. As a dynamic and driven organisation, we are often asked what it’s like to work at Ace Oil Tools.


Each member of the Ace team plays a vital role in maintaining our reputation as market leaders in well completion tools and solutions, but what does a typical day at Ace Oil Tools look like?


If you exclude the black coffee – a key part of our working day – there is no “typical day”.


We operate from our bases in Stavanger and Houston, meaning as the sun goes down on one office, it’s rising on the other. Not only that, but with installations across five continents and almost 30 countries, members of our team are constantly working across the globe, finding new ways to help our customers save time, money and improve operational efficiency.


From our Stavanger HQ, one day could see us working on the development of next-generation downhole tools, while others could see us building on strong partnerships with our clients to teach them how to use our products safely and correctly.


But while there isn’t one typical day, there is one solid thread that runs throughout all our company activity: our code of ethics.


Our code of ethics was introduced to establish a healthy corporate culture in which employees work according to good standards for business practices and assume shared responsibility in upholding our reputation and corporate social responsibility activity.


While this can often be a ‘tick-box’ exercise, all members of the Ace Oil Tools team strongly believe in our ethical principles. From Stavanger to Houston, each of us acts in a fair and honest manner, demonstrating professional and personal integrity.


Within the team, everyone is expected to actively add value and positively contribute to maintaining our reputation.
